How to use Optifoam Gentle Sacral Foam Dressing?
- Position patient in their side. Remove center release liner. Fold dressing in half, anchor dressing in gluteal fold.
- Remove release liner from upper side of dressing and smooth upward away from the bed and repeat on other side.
- Gently secure the dressing to the skin.
How often should you change Sacrum Dressing?
- Optifoam Gentle may be left in place for up to 7 days
- Dressing change frequency will depend on amount of drainage
