This adapted power chair has 5 speed settings, with speeds ranging from 0 up to 3.7 mph. The chair arrives assembled and the joystick controller can be mounted on the left- or right-hand padded armrest.
The footplate swings-away so that users can exit safely and easily. To fold the unit is easy with a single pull-release cable; once folded, it fits into the backseat or trunk of a car and can be wheeled like a piece of luggage. The chair can be manually pushed when it is not in use and unlocked.
The flat-free tires are durable and the rear anti-tip wheels prevent tipping when going over bumps or inclines. The electromagnetic brake system automatically stops the chair when the joystick is released. The battery is rechargeable 24 V, 8.76Ah lithium ion, suitable for 110/220 V outlets, and provides 8 miles of use on a single charge (depending on weight capacity).
