The T-Handle Pull Door Closer is a simple yet very effective adapted door handle that makes door closing easier for wheelchair users and people with limited mobility. It simply allows users to easily pull the door closed behind them.
Wheelchair, walker, or crutch users often find that they are in the way of closing the door behind them, or they have to maneuver bit by bit to close the door. This door closer takes the hassle out of the process by providing an easy-to-attach handle. Made from durable high-density plastic, the handle can be used on most types of doors (not recommended for glass or fire doors) either indoors or outdoors.
The long, extended arm swivels so it can be grabbed and pulled from any position, and then placed flat against the door when done. The handle is easy to install using the 3M sticky pad and adheres securely to the door. Screws are included for permanent installation but the sticky pad works well in most situations. The adhesive is very strong and can withstand extreme temperatures for many years. The T-Handle Pull Door Closer allows users with limited mobility to easily pull the door closed.
The T-Handle Pull Door Closer is also available in an aluminum model that automatically retracts.
